RIP to those who have suffered the ultimate price. Our prayers are with the American people. Let's hope they catch the bastards responsible.
Thank God that only a few were killed, although the huge amount of people who have been crippled or permanently injured by the bombs have a harder life in front of them.People will remember this because of the day it happened and the attack on the country's pride. No one has claimed responsibility yet but they seem to have an agenda against America.I wonder what the family members of the victims are thinking right now - they don't even know who killed their family and friends. People who take out their self-righteous anger out on the citizens of a country are cowards who will die a cowards death, either by suicide-by-cop/soldier, killing themselves in a suicide bombing or on their deathbed, with nothing to show for all the sins they have committed. I hope the families get support for the injured and that the memorial in their name is right and just.May their souls Rest in Peace.

Increasingly, it looks like a fellow American/Americans have committed these acts of terrorism. Reports confirm that these bombs were much smaller than your usual ones, and looked home-made because nails were inside them to maximise destruction.
These are not the bombs of foreign terrorist organisations. Their bombs are more sophisticated, and it's usually a suicide operation. Home-made nail bombs are not their style.
Looks more like a political protest but let's wait for the invesigation before we speculate. Some idiots are saying North Korea is behind it lol.
Yup, FNS is right. This bomb seems like it was made by an American for political protest. A terrorist would have made a bomb with a bigger explosion and much more effective that it would kill hundreds and not two.
If North Korea would have been behind this bombings, the whole Boston area would be wiped out. lol Stupid Americans.
Here is the video of the bomb

People like Ryuzaaki have been brain-washed into thinking that all terrorism on US soil is now the work of Islamic terrorists. Who can blame them? their knowledge comes from the six o clock news. Even friends and family were posting hate messages at Al Qaeda and the Taliban after the bombing, jumping to the popular conclusion.
You and I can figure things out on our own. When you posted the raw footage of the bombs going off, I knew immediately that this was probably an 'inside' job because the bombs were home-made, there was no suicide mission, and the explosions were minor. International terrorists are also particular about the location of their attacks. The Boston City Library has no impact on the national economy. Why would international terrorists want to destroy that? unless Obama was making a visit at the very same time, bombing the Boston Public Library makes no sense at all.

I never assumed it was Islamic terrorism, I just assumed they hated America - it was Patriot's day after all, I don't know how important that is in America but because someone saw fit to bomb it's not unreasonable to guess they're not big fans. Don't misquote me.

Twitter of one of the suspect.
BOSTON BOMB SUSPECT IS CAPTURED AFTER STANDOFF
(CNN) -- The suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings was taken into custody Friday night, bringing to an end a massive manhunt in the Massachusetts capital amid warnings the man was possibly armed with explosives.
Law enforcement officials told CNN that authorities have confirmed the man in custody is 19-year-old Dzhokar Tsarnaev, who escaped an overnight shootout with police that left his older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev -- the other man wanted in the bombings -- dead.
The younger Tsarnaev was in need of undisclosed medical care, the officials said.
After announcing the arrest on Twitter, Boston police tweeted: "CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won. Suspect in custody."
The arrest came less than a week after two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, shocking the nation and leaving a city on edge.
Tsarnaev was cornered late Friday on a boat in a backyard of Watertown, a suburb of Boston.
Authorities "engaged" the man, according to one of the officials who spoke on condition of anonymity, just minutes after authorities indicated during a news conference that a manhunt for the suspect appeared to come up empty.
A CNN crew near the scene heard about two dozen gunshots fired, but it was not clear if the shots were fired by the suspect, authorities or both. A number of small explosions, believed to be stun grenades, also were heard.
Authorities, using a bullhorn, called on the suspect to surrender: "Come out with your hands up.
The development came after authorities cast a wide net for the suspect that virtually shut down Boston and its surroundings following a violent night in which authorities say the brothers allegedly hurled explosives at pursuers, after killing Massachusetts Institute of Technology police Officer Sean Collier and hijacking a car.
Word of the arrest spread quickly in Boston, where residents cheered the news the suspect was in custody. Police cheered while some residents chanted: "Thank you. Thank you."
Mary Sullivan was walking her black Labrador earlier Friday night when gunshots rang out in her neighborhood.
"I'm glad it's over," she said. "The city and the people have gone through so much pain over these irrational decisions of these young men."

One of the suspect was a U.S citizen. So therefore me and FNS were right, we have an American terrorist. Now the media is all focusing on their background, more specifically their religion (Islam).
That's not what the father said. Now it's just FBI's words against the families word.
Suspects father interviewI just read a news article saying the Russian authority warned U.S long ago that Tamerlan was a strong believer of Islam. They think by being a Muslim that would make you a terrorist. Those people who call themselves 'Christian' but have hatred against Islam would all go to hell in the after life. They may have a good temporary life now compare to those in Afghanistan, Pakistan but in the after life they will suffer in the afterlife for eternity.
The 19 year old deserves a fair trail as any other U.S citizen regardless of what he did. But the Federal may put in that Patriot Act to deny Tsarnaev his rights.
